It was bright an early, the sun just rising in the sky. It looked like a flower blooming in the sky. Through out the forest the flowers were opening up from a nights rest. Animals were out up and early looking for food. The Dortain Pack's Forest was awakened with life. The sky was filled with a bright yellow, rich orange, and a lovely blue with birds of many colors flying through the open sky.
Valentina was already up before the sun had come up and had ran to the cliffs and jumped up the cliffs to where she was pretty high. As she watched the sun rise she got up and thought Oh i just love the sun rises. She let the wind flow through her fur and after awhile she bounced down cliffs and ran through the forest till she smelt a Elk some where near and she became quiet and followed the scent till Valentina saw the elk it was a full grown male. She smirked and thought good a challenge she hid in the tallest grass she could find and her green eyes sparkled with amusement

Blaine woke up as the sun broke through his den. He groaned and said "Oh great, morning. Just what i needed when i was have a nice dream." Blaine got up and shook his fur and trotted out of his den and over to fresh kill pile and sees their are few pieces of food. He picks up a hare and brings it to his mother in the nursery. Blaine's mother smiles and says "Blaine you are to kind, you know that.". He blushes a bit and says " Mom I'm not that kind so don't go off telling every body that got it." and he quickly runs out of camp. As he slows down in the forest and calms down. He sniffs the air and catches the scent of a family of hares and smirks thinking I can get a lot of these and bring them back to camp. As he finds the family of hares he smirks and pounces catching three this time. After a while he leave a few hares alive but has caught plenty then he run quite fast to camp and puts them in the fresh kill pile and brings some to the elders but quickly leaves before they could thank him. He quickly left camp again and tried climbing, he had heard from his mother that his cuz Scarlet was a expert at climbing and even though she did not know he was her cuz he never wanted to lose to her, and so he tried and tried till he finally climbed a tree and he looked own and thought how the heck can she do this.

Valentina watched the male elk and when she sees the perfect chance her eyes shine and she pounces on it's back and bites the back of it's neck. The elk quickly reacted to the Valentina on t's back and it started to buck around and Valentina bite harder onto it's neck and jumped off of it's back and was dangling on hanging on by her grip on it's neck. Then she flips off of the elk and lands on the side of a tree and and jumps off the tree and bites on a very soft spot on the front side of the neck and it falls right to the ground at the very moment she bites onto the spot on it's neck. It squirmed but she bite harder then the elk slowly stopped moving. When it had stopped moving she broke it's neck just in case it was faking. Valentina dragged the elk back to camp and put it in the middle of camp and waits for the higher ranks to eat first.
