If you are new to the site, or are not quite sure how to start roleplaying your wolf, then follow these basic steps to get a wonderful start on Forest Spirits!
1. Read through the "RULES And GUIDELINES". They will answer many of your questions and Introduce you to our rules, which have strict penalties for not being followed.
2. Take a look at the "FS Mythology" board and read the mythology. This will introduce you to the Spiritwolves. Also, while you are still on the board, read the "The Spiritwolves" thread to learn about the religion the wolves of FS believe in and their "Gods"
3. You should then look around the pack boards, which is where you roleplay. You cannot start roleplaying until you create a wolf, but you should look at the different packs and see which you would like your first wolf to join.
4. Look at the "Ranks And Duties" board. There you will see the different ranks and duties a pack wolves can have. These ranks and duties do not apply to rogue wolves, for they do not live in a pack.
5. Check out the "Elements" board to see what elements your wolf can choose from. Each element offers a unique power for your wolf. There are upsides and downsides to each element, I assure you.
6. read over the "How To Roleplay" thread, just to see how to roleplay on FS if you don't know how to roleplay on a forum based post-to-play RP already.
7. Now create your wolf by going to the "Create your wolf" board and taking a look at the template, then copy and pasting it to a thread of your own on that board. You cannot roleplay until your wolf has been posted by a staff member on the "Accepted Characters" board. If you want a rogue wolf, you have to earn Acorns first by posting so you can pay for it.
8. You can start roleplaying when your wolf has been accepted, and your signature has in it the wolf you created. To roleplay, just go to your pack's board, and roleplay in any of the locations within your pack's territory that you are allowed to be in. Under no circumstances but an admin's permission may you roleplay in any boards that you don't belong in. There are penalties for this.
9. If you have more questions once you have read the rules and guidelines, please report to the FAQ. You can look to see if your question has already been answered, and if it has not, you can submit it and it will be answered. You will not get in trouble for asking a stupid question.
